SSC CGL Recruitment 2024 Notification:
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the notification for the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024, announcing a total of 17,727 vacancies. Selection will be based on candidates’ performance in preliminary exams, mains, and interviews. Successful candidates in the prelims will proceed to the mains, and those clearing the mains will be eligible for the interview round.
Candidates who have graduated from a recognized institute are eligible to apply. The application window will be open from June 24 to July 24. Online fee payments must be completed by July 25; no applications will be accepted after this date. The correction window is scheduled to open on August 10 and will close on August 11.
The SSC CGL Recruitment 2024 Tier 1 examination is set to be held between September and October 2024. Candidates who pass Tier 1 will advance to Tier 2, scheduled for December 2024. Details on eligibility, application process, fees, and more can be found below.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- For the position of Junior Statistical Officer, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute. They should either have secured at least 60% marks in Mathematics at the 12th standard level, or have Statistics as one of their subjects at the degree level.
- For the role of Statistical Investigator Grade 2, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute, with Statistics being one of the subjects.
- For the position of Research Assistant in the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and other related posts, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
Age Limit – Candidates should be aged between 18 to 32 years. Age relaxation will be applicable to reserved category candidates as per government norms.

- After successful registration, proceed to fill out the application form.

- Print a copy of the application form for your records.

- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempt from paying any fee.
